City of Tallapoosa NOTICE OF A

PUBLIC HEARING REZONING REQUEST

The Mayor and City Council of Tallapoosa shall hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm, Monday, April 13, rescheduled for May 18, 2020 in the Council Chambers at City Hall. CURRENT ZONING: Tax Map 34A, parcel #92 - R-50, Single family residential REQUESTED ZONING: Tax Map 34A, parcel number #92: RH-25, Single family residential, historic Rezoning request is from Cynthia Davis and Dennis Williams, who have been given permission from property owner Trevor Rockie Daniel to represent him in this rezoning request process. The rezoning request affects one parcel of land in Tallapoosa, containing approximately 1.06 acres, currently zoned R-50, which is currently vacant. The property is located on the northwest corner of West Atlanta Street and North Kelly Street, no current street address assigned. PURPOSE: To allow the new property owners to divide the 1.06 acres into lots containing at least one-quarter of an acre, and construct single family homes on the newly created parcels. The Tallapoosa Planning Commission shall conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, April 6, rescheduled for May 4, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
