Get out and vote!

I can’t remember a single election since 1972 in which I have not voted. The first person I ever voted for was George McGovern for President of the United States. I voted for him because he wasn’t Richard Nixon. I voted for Jimmy Carter in 1976. OK, I was zero for two. In 1980, I voted Republican for the first time. Probably because of double-digit inflation and interest on loans were almost as high as the Mafia’s.  Comments (0)
