She was born on June 6, 1950, in Dekalb County, Ga., the daughter of the late Benny Benjamin “Ben” Miller and Dorothy Massey Miller. She was formerly employed with The Hubbard Company and Haralson Nursing & Rehab. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by grandparents Ruby & Arthur Massey.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and John Benefield of Bremen, Debra and Allen Long of Carrollton and Tricia and Craig Benefield of Waco; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alier and Syd Sorensen, Renee’ and Vann Gravlee, Donna and Randy Langley and Darla and Orville Hodges all of Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Paula Miller of Alabama; former spouse and father of children, Worth Clark of Brunswick, Ga., and former spouse, Ricky Bell of Alabama; several nieces, nephews and eight grandchildren.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 15, at 2 p.m. at Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Rev. James Owens and Rev. Adam Jefferson officiating. Music will be by Amy Cordele. Leland Benefield, Josh Benefield, Jessie Beaver and Shane Miller will serve as pallbearers. Danny DeStafino will serve as honorary pallbearer. Burial will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
