Mr. Wright was born March 27, 1941, in Cobb County, the son of the late Truman Wright and Linda Franklin Wright. He was a truck driver and Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Wright; children and their spouses, Linda (Spencer) Smith, Dallas, Danny (Trina) Wright, Jasper, Aenease Ramirez, Powder Springs, Richie Wright, Powder Springs, Tiffany Wright, Nashville; brother, Paul Wright, Dallas, Bud Wright, Cartersville; sisters, Louise Briby, Marietta, Dot Whittle, Texas; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In accordance with the family’s wishes the body was cremated.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 15, at 2 p.m. J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from noon until the memorial service hour.
