Carolyn L. Townsend age 64 of Douglasville, died Dec.17, 2009, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Richard J. Brady and Louise Carroll Brady. She was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband Bill H. Townsend of Douglasville; sons William H. Townsend Jr. of Douglasville, Kenny and Suzie Townsend of Douglasville, daughter Marlene and Darrell Poore of Douglasville, brothers Richard J. and Shirley Brady Jr. of Douglasville and Terry Brady; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Fairhaven Baptist Church. Rev. James Biddy will officiate. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 9 p.m.at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour at 1.
