Union Campground / Waco

The Annual Chicken Que at Union Campground in Waco, Ga., will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat., Oct. 17. The plates are $6 each and include 1/2 chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, bread and dessert. Information: 770-834-6700.

Bake and craft sale

The Mount Holly Seniors will have a bake and craft sale on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bremen Towne Festival in Bremen. All proceeds will go to their new building.

Jellystone Pumpkin Fest

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, 106 Kind St., Bremen, invites your church to come out and enjoy its second annual Pumpkin Fest from 1 to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October (except Oct. 24.) Join us for hay rides, pumpkin painting, train rides, mummy bowling, reptile show, pie eating contest, and Yogi Bear. Admission $4 for children, $2 for adults. Homecoming

Oak Hill Church of God of Prophecy, 560 Morgan Road, will have homecoming celebration 2009 on Oct. 18. Ga. State Overseer, Bishop Billy Adams will preach and the Hendersons of Milton, Fla. will sing. Fish fry

Waco Baptist Church, 34 Atlantic Ave., Waco, will have a fish fry on Oct. 16. $6 per plate. Proceeds will go to flood victims. Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 7 p.m.

Trunk or treat

Mount Holly Church of God in Bremen will have a trunk or treat festival on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free food, fun and games. For information call 770-537-3370.

Rehoboth Christian Center, 290 High St., Tallapoosa will have Campmeeting Oct. 25-28 at 7 p.m. each night. Speakers will include Bishop Dale C. Bronner of Austell. Workshops and 10 and 11 a.m. daily. Golf Tournament

Annual BBQ

Bethlehem Baptist Church, located on Bethlehem Church Rd., Felton, Ga., will have their 8th Annual BBQ from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sat. Oct. 24. Proceeds go to renovate Social Hall. Hallelujah Festival

The 4th Annual Hallelujah Festival, hosted by Feed The Sheep Ministries of Bremen, Bremen Police Dept. and Bremen Rec. Dept. will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Bremen Activity Center, located at 417 River Circle, Bremen, for toddlers through 12 years old. Free to all. Our goal is to offer children a fun alternative to trick or treat in the streets. The event will provide free games, food and prizes in a safe atmosphere.
