A Gift of Love will be a drop-off and pick-up site for victims of the flood in Douglas County.
Household items will be collected and distributed to those in need, and there is a need for people to donate items or time.
Starting Friday, A Gift of Love will be collecting and distributing items Monday through Saturday for two weeks. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Help is needed to sort and organize donations as they come in. Help is also needed to distribute these items to families that come in to pick up. If you could donate household items such as sheets, towels, comforters, pots and pans, silverware, cleaning supplies, etc. (no furniture) and/or donate your time, you may contact Juanita at A Gift of Love 770-947-8200 or Tracey Morton at 770-947-9744.
A Gift of Love is located at 3870 Longview Drive in Douglasville (next door to the skating rink). Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
