Laverne Holcombe handles a tray of freshly baked biscuits in the kitchen of the Maple Street Mansion during the annual Golden K/Southwire Pancake Breakfast Saturday morning. To feed the approximately 1,000 breakfast patrons, Golden K members cooked 6,000 pancakes, 1,500 biscuits, 400 dozen eggs and 300 pounds of bacon.
