The Haralson County High School girls basketball team defeated Cleburne County, 44-37, on Saturday night led by Ivory Smith’s 21-point effort. Chelsea Godwin dropped in 10 points on Senior Night for the Rebelettes (11-12).

In other basketball action:

Bremen girls 51, Ranburne, Ala. 49: Haley Sewell (16 points), Taylor Jennings (15 points) and Sarah Stansberry (13) paced the Lady Blue Devils (9-8) in the non-region victory.

Haralson County boys 53, Cleburne County 48: Will Hilderbrand (22 points) led the Rebels (9-13) offensively, followed by Lance Holland (9 points).
