Carroll County Parks and Recreation Department Director Ken Farmer gets a hug from County Human Resources Director Anne Lee on Thursday inside the gym at the Carroll County Rec Complex. Friends and relatives of Farmer and Assistant Director Julie Ivey gathered for a farewell party thanking the two for their work for the county over the past seven years. Farmer, who was born and raised in Carroll County, said he will probably retire but continue to reside in the county.
