Alfred Rutherford carries bricks he will lay into a path around the new fountain at the Veterans Memorial Park on Tuesday. The fountain cost $40,000 and was paid for with fund raising and a $20,000 match grant from the Community Foundation of West Georgia. Park committee members have started fund raising for a pavilion to be built at the site.
