Steven Woodard of Carrollton unloads his family Christmas tree from his SUV on Friday at his home on Whooping Creek Road. Woodard and his wife, Teresa, chose the tree from Red Land Nursery and Christmas Tree farm in Temple. In the past, the couple had an artificial Christmas tree, but decided to start a new tradition this year and get a real tree the day after Thanksgiving.
