University of West Georgia students in the art department carved the pumpkins on the square Tuesday beginning at 8:30 AM instructor Clint Samples said. Attendees of the extravaganza could vote on their favorite pumpkin. Prizes were donated by local businesses.

Ansley Kitchens, 3, dressed up as a leopard, picks out a lollipop at the Tiny Tots Halloween Extravaganza hosted on Adamson Square Tuesday. The event was organized by Ginny Chandler of Carrollton Main Street who said she expected around 1,000 people to attend the annual event.
