He was born on July 15, 1951, in Carroll County, Ga., the son of Mike Ellis Jr. and the late Sara Veazey Ellis.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Jordan Ellis of Bremen; father, Mike Ellis Jr. of Bremen; daughter, Angie Patton Ellis of Bremen; and a sister, Charlene “Sis” McDonald of Bremen.
In accordance with his wishes, the body was cremated.
