The Wolves (10-17, 3-13 GSC) had just seven hits total on the day, with freshman first baseman Laurel Clark getting the majority of them. Clark went 3-for-5 in the two games combined with a double, while Haley Richards went 2-for-6 with a triple and a run scored.
Alabama-Huntsville scored three runs in the top of the first inning of each game to take control, with the Wolves getting just three hits in the five-inning first game and four in the nightcap.
West Georgia returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Rome for a 1 p.m. GSC doubleheader against Shorter. On Sunday, the Wolves visit Augusta State for a 2 p.m. double-dip.
