Mr. Horton was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from the City of College Park.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Patrick and Krista Horton of Villa Rica; one brother, Ronald Horton of Villa Rica; four grandchildren, Phoebe, Makaye, Ryan and Shelby; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Forest Park Moose Lodge.
Inurnment will follow at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery.
