A Carrollton man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a male victim multiple times Monday.

Police say Roderick Shae Arnold, 33, broke into the home of his former girlfriend in the Old Airport Area of Carrollton yesterday.

Once inside, a verbal and physical altercation ensued, during which a male subject at the residence was injured, said Capt. Jeff Richards of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

After the man was injured, Arnold then fled the residence, Richards said, to the yard area, where he began damaging a vehicle in the yard.

He then forcefully re-entered his ex-girlfriend's home and another fight ensued that resulted in injuries to both victims, with the male being stabbed "multiple times," police said.

Arnold fled the scene prior to officers' arrival; however, he was later apprehended by deputies during a traffic stop.

The man has been charged with aggravated assault, burglary and criminal damage to property. He remains at Carroll County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
