Mr. William Leon Cooley went home to his Heavenly Father on March 8th, 2013. He was born on February 28th, 1945, in Carroll County, Ga., to the late Hazel and Abe Cooley.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Julia Daniel and Betty Cooley.

He is survived by sisters, Joyce and Billy Roden and Mary Zimmerman; brothers, Ronnie Cooley and Kenneth and Rhonda Cooley; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Allen Marrow, Tina and Dana Turner, and Teresa and Tony Moran, all of Mt. Zion; grandchildren, Daniel and Kayla Marrow, Diedra Marrow, Dusty Owen, Kris Marrow, Tessa Thacker, Lilli David King, Cami Forshey and Levi Turner; and great-grandchildren, Lyla Marrow, Jaxon Marrow, Waylon Allen and Charlee Marrow.

Visitation is Sunday, March 10th, from 5 to 8 at Rainwater Funeral Home in Bowdon, Ga. The funeral will be Monday, March 11th, at 2 p.m. Georgia time at Harmony Congressional Methodist Church in Newell, Ala. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Daniel Marrow, Kris Marrow, and Levi Turner; nephews: Jerry Ray Allen and Andy Allen; sons-in-law: Dana Turner and Tony Moran; and honorary son, Trent Langley.

Everyone is welcome to convene at Teresa’s house after the funeral for food, fellowship and conversation; 405 Caldwell Road, Bowdon, GA 30108.
