She was born November 19, 1940, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Harold Jasper Stacey and Mildred Mattie Shelton Stacey.
She was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church.
Survivors include sisters, Joann Johnson and her husband, Terry, of Carrollton and Brenda Robinson and her husband, Pete, of Pine Mountain; brothers, Jerry Harold Stacey and Howard Stacey, both of Carrollton; nieces and nephews, Stacey and Dennis McGouirk of Carrollton, T. J. Johnson of Carrollton, and Tiffany and Adam Holloway of Bowdon; great-nieces and nephews, Destiny, Kaitlynn, and Mattie McGouirk of Carrollton, Brittany Thomas, and Clayton Holloway, both of Bowdon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013, from Cross Plains Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Littleton and Bro. Harold Farris officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Those serving as pallbearers will be T. J. Johnson, Adam Holloway, Dennis McGouirk, Legg Brown, Joey Huckeba, Stanley Camp, Randy Huckeba, and Richard Littleton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.
