Funeral services for Jessie Carlton Crenshaw, 101, of Ephesus, Ga., will be Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. from Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Bro. Terry Langley officiating. The body will be placed at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

Mr. Crenshaw died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013.

Survivors include his wife, Ila Lou Richardson Crenshaw; daughters, Colleen C. Workman and husband, Bobby, of Ephesus, Terrie C. Kidd and husband, David, of Franklin, Ga., Cloris Brown and husband, Larry, of Centralhatchee, Ga.; son, Denzil Crenshaw and wife, Peggy, of Woodland, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Crenshaw was born Oct. 23, 1911, the son of Cornelia C. and Annie Williams Crenshaw. He was a member of the Napoleon Church of Christ and had worked for L. L. Roger’s Saw Mill.

Mr. Crenshaw was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Deanna Workman; four sisters and four brothers.
