Four other candidates include officials from Clayton State University in Morrow, the University of West Florida, Emporia State in Kansas, and the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas.
UWG released the names of the five candidates Friday evening.
Sethna last August announced his retirement effective June 30, 2013, which will bring to an end his tenure of 19 years.Each of the five candidates will be making campus visits, with the first scheduled for Monday. The final visit will be Friday, March 1. Faculty, staff and students will be invited to interview each candidate in various open meetings.
The public will also be invited to meet with the candidates during any of the open meetings.
Each candidate’s visit will include a full itinerary starting with breakfast with the UWG deans.
The five candidates and their visit itinerary are:
