Joey Durden, 58, of Temple died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

Mr. Durden was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Atlanta, Ga., the son of Faye Lee Blair and the late Gerald Blair.

He was the food director at Woodward Academy for a number of years and was a member of The Atlanta Revival Center in Douglasville.

Survivors include his mother, Faye Lee Blair of Marietta; his wife of more than 20 years, Jessie Cole Durden of Temple; children and their spouses, Michelle and Lee Gann of Zebulon, Ga., Andrew and Amy Durden of Marietta, Chanel and Jason Lowery of Bremen, Michelle and Brad Goodman of Tallapoosa, William and Melanie Pajaro of Villa Rica; brothers, Robert Durden of Braselton, Ga., Jerry Blair of Powder Springs; sister, Cindy Blair of Marietta; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Pastor Vance Murphy officiating.
