Ronnie was born June 19, 1957, in Columbus, Ga., to the late Harold and Zelah Robinson
He graduated from Villa Rica High School in 1975. He received an industrial electrical degree from Carroll Tech. He was a computer technician and worked as a tax preparer and formerly worked at D&L. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, Savannah and Everett. He enjoyed football, hockey, baseball, NASCAR, computers and reading. He loved his cat, Farley.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Ruby Robinson; children, Christopher Robinson (Allison) of Douglasville, Kyra Robinson (Ryan Holley), Ryan Robinson of Carrollton, “Honorary son” Dustin Kelley of Texas; brothers, Bobby (Pat) of Columbus, Jerry, Lamar (Jan) of Carrollton; and two grandchildren.
Ronnie was preceded in death by brother, Archie Robinson, and his parents.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, the body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Lowell United Methodist Church, 180 Lowell Lane with the Rev. Tim Constein officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lowell United Methodist Church or Carroll County Animal Shelter.
