Mrs. Humphries was born in Marietta, Ga., on Sept. 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Harvey Wilburn Roach and Clara Parnell Southern Roach. She retired from janitorial services at Cannon Building Service and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and David Garmon of Carrollton and Sheila Taylor of Tallapoosa; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Doris Callahan of Villa Rica and Doug and Sheena Callahan of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jean Roach of Jasper, Ga.; one grandchild, two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Humphries; infant grandchild, Allison Michele Garmon; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Burial will be in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery.
