Linda Jennings Ray, 73, of Stephens City, Va., died Saturday, Jan. 26, at her home. Mrs. Ray was born on May 17, 1939, in Carrollton, Ga.; the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby Jennings.
She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
She married Leon G. Ray on June 5, 1966, in Atlanta, Ga.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Carraway of Monroe, Ga., and Christi Dean of Stephens City, Va.; three sons, David Ray of Sumter, S.C., Jay Strawn of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Lee Ray of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Cortez of Carrollton, Ga., and Jean Austin of Stockbridge, Ga.; and two brothers, Richard Jennings of Carrollton, Ga., and Larry Jennings of Carrollton, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, Va.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Fellowship Bible Church with Pastor Mark Carey officiating. Internment will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Chris Ray, David Ray Jr., Clay Carraway, Caleb Carraway, Scott Espich, and Connor Strawn. Honorary pallbearers will be Tad Dean, McKinley Dean, Rich Brito, Richard Stewart and the Geezer Group: Bob and Helen Ramsey, Richard and Betty Miller, Dickie and Diane Giles, and John and Sheila Carper.
