Kiera Karlin holds a turtle Wednesday before placing it in the newly designed and installed turtle and fish habitat in the new emergency department at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton. Karlin is the daughter of Jody Karlin of Just Add Water of Conyers, who designed and built the 1,100-gallon freshwater habitat for the hospital. Local children participated in placing several species of turtles and fish into their new home, which was donated by Carrollton Emergency Physicians, PC.
