Mrs. Robinson was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on October 17, 1923, to the late Roy Lee and Mary Elizabeth Wilbanks. She was a homemaker most of her adult life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Edgar Robinson Jr., Steven Paul Robinson, and her sister, Doris W. Morris.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Robinson; her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Diane Robinson; her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Joe Kent; her grandsons, Wesley Robinson and family and Kenny Robinson and family; her sister, Roberta Williamson; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Odell Willbanks.
She loved life, but most of all her family. She was a wonderful cook, making cakes and biscuits like no one else. She loved shopping, yard sales and gardening. One of her main joys was teaching Sunday School to the Pairs and Spares Class at Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Martha Dye and Dr. Shirley Wright officiating. Scott Eason and Sylvia Vick will give the eulogies. Pallbearers will be Wesley Robinson, Kenny Robinson, David Phillips, Scott Eason, L.G. Vick and Shannon Robinson. Internment will follow at Kansas Baptist Church Cemetery.
