Louise Bradbary, 89, a resident of Carrollton Manor and formerly of Ranburne, Ala., died Jan. 19, 2013. Mrs. Bradbary was born on March 17, 1923, in Cleburne County, Ala., to the late O.R. and Jewell Kilgore.

She was retired from Sewell’s Manufacturing Company as a seamstress and also helped her husband operate their poultry farm. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoyed flower gardening. She will be most remembered by her family, however, as a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Bradbary; and her sons, Mack, Tim, and Carl Bradbary; and her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jason and Norma Bradbary; and her brother, Clyde Kilgore.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Naomi and Eugene Griffin of Carrollton; her sisters, Elizabeth Saye and Jean Whigham; her brother, Travis Kilgore; her daughters-in-law, Nell Bradbary and Ollie Faye Bradbary; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. EST Monday, Jan. 21, at Rainwater Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Griffin officiated and Christy Bradbary Fordham offered a eulogy. Mrs. Bradbary’s grandsons served as pallbearers. Burial followed at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ranburne.
