Gladys Marie Lee Williams of Bowdon Junction, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in a local hospital. She was born in Haralson County on Oct. 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Joseph Lee and Maudie Bowling Lee.

Mrs. Williams was a 40-year retiree of Sewell Manufacturing Company and a member of the Faith Memorial Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Williams; a daughter, Wanda Williams; and brothers, Robert Lee and James Harold Lee.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and William Couch of Bowdon Junction; a son, Phillip Williams of Bowdon Junction; and a grandson, Caleb Couch of Carrollton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with the Revs. Tony Thompson and Gene Swanger officiating. Music will be furnished by Jeneen Walton. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Buchanan Church of God Cemetery.
