Mrs. Brenda Gale Green, 61, of Carrollton, Ga., passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

Brenda was born in Douglasville, Ga., the daughter of Max D. Harper and the late Patricia Scott Harper. She was a school teacher in the Carroll County School System and member of Bethany Christian Church. Earlier in life, she worked as a court stenographer, police dispatcher, computer department at University of West Georgia, Carrollton City School System, and Whitesburg Elementary School.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Green; sons, Dusty Griffin of Carrollton, Jeremy Green of New Port Richie, Fla., Christofer Green of Opelika, Ala.; daughters, Dawn Lewis of Villa Rica, Lori Firriolo of Spring Hill, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and father, Max Harper of Carrollton,

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Almon Funeral Home with Minister Allen Howard and Minister Joey Mullins officiating. Music will be provided by the Bethany Quartet.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Ebner, Randy Collins, Robbie Hudson, Keith Harris and Steve Suddeth.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Following the service, Mrs. Green’s body will be cremated.
