Mrs. Susan Muse McGuire, age 56, of Carrollton passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012. She was born May 16, 1956, in Carrollton, Ga., the daughter of the late Loy Jordan Muse and Lillian Gladys Frazier Muse.

Susan was a homemaker and she loved her family but most of all she had a love for horses.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Calvin McGuire; son, Shawn Phillip McGuire; brothers, Jimmy Muse, David Muse, Johnny Muse and Mark Muse.

Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Nicole McGuire and Sabrina Roxanne McGuire, both of Carrollton; sister, Janie Kilgore of Carrollton; brothers, Harvey Dixon of Florida, Charles Muse, Mike Muse and Steve Muse, all of Carrollton; also five grandchildren, Victoria, Thomas, Wyatt, Levi and Dalton. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 3 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Steve Smith and Mrs. Janie Kilgore officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Muse, Johnathon Muse, Randall Kilgore, Chris Kilgore, Mark Muse, Buddy Muse, Steve Muse and Tim Jiles. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m.
