Ms. Gwenetta Kelley, age 52, of Carrollton, Ga., departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 24, 2012. She was born May 31, 1960 in Carrollton, Ga., to Lillie Dean Dorsey and the late Ernest Kelley.

Ms. Kelley had worked for Bagwell’s Nursing Home as an LPN for over 20 years and was a member of West Georgia Church of Christ.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwain Hammett.

Leaving to cherish her memories include her mother, Lillie Dean Dorsey; son, Patrick Horton of Carrollton; a significant other, Jessie Frank Horton Jr.; sisters, Yvonne Phillips of Carrollton, Darlene Dorsey of Newnan, Sylvia Dorsey, Anita and Michael Hendrix all of Carrollton, Annette Kelley of Stockbridge, Lisa Kelley of Franklin and Leranette Kelley of Rex; brothers, Dewild Dorsey of Carrollton, Gardner and Marcella Dorsey of Bremen, Timothy Kelley of Elberton, Anthony and Evelyn Kelley of Stone Mountain, and Curtis Kelley of Atlanta; also, a special aunt and uncle, Gloria and Tommy Trammell of Carrollton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. from West Georgia Church of Christ with Bro. Larry Acuff and Bro. Dave Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
