Mr. D.C. Dearman, Jr., of Woodland, Alabama, passed away on November 22, 2012. He was 63.

Mr. Dearman was born on September 19, 1949, in Bowdon, Georgia, to the late D.C. and Rubye Wiggins Dearman.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a Lab Technician at Southwire. He was also a member of Providence Baptist Church in Woodland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Dearman.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Yates Dearman; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Andy Knowles and Teleah and Chad Harris; his sisters, Joan Osborne and Ava Koehler; his grandchildren, Tristan Knowles, Kelsey Harris, Dawson Knowles, Carter Harris, Andrew Knowles, and Bailey Knowles; and his mother-in-law, Jewell Yates.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. (Georgia Time) at Providence Baptist Church. Rev. David Daniel and Rev. Wyndel Ford will officiate. Pallbearers will be George McBrayer, Tristan Knowles, Scott Smith, Ricky Spratlin, J.R. Fincher, and Eric Dye. Interment will follow the services in the church cemetery. Prior to the funeral, Mr. Dearman’s body will be placed at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
