Jennifer April Cole Head, age 45, of Temple, Ga., passed away, Monday, November 12, 2012, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. She was born May 3, 1967, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of Mrs. Dennis Rebecca Pilgrim Cole and the late Joe Matthews Cole.

She was a Senior Radio Operator for the Douglas County Sheriff Department and was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Head of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Nicole and George Robert Hamm of Temple; son, William Head Jr. of Temple; stepson, David William Head of Villa Rica; mother Becky Cole of Temple; sister, Amy and Joel Carter of Temple; brothers, Harold Cole of Christiansburg, Va., and Joey and Reneé Cole of Temple; four grandchildren, Winter Worthan of Temple, Jayden Head, Keisha Head and Dillion Head, all of Villa Rica; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 3 p.m. from the Concord Baptist Church in Temple with Rev. Don Rackley and Rev. Fred Cooke officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: George Hamm, Marc Lattanzio, John Alley, Ken Carter, Ben Carter and Jamie Cole.
