Mrs. Mary Gay of Ranburne, Alabama, passed away on October 14, 2012. She was 80.

Mrs. Gay was born on August 26, 1932, in Nicholls, Georgia. She was a housewife and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband, William “Bill” Gay.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Pam Gay; her daughter, Willene Isbell; her grandchildren, Wade and Jessica Gay; her sister, Vernell Tanner; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Ralph Caldwell and Rev. Richard Tanner will officiate. Music will be provided by Mr. Walter Thrower. Wade Gay, Ashton Andrews, Chance Andrews, Haden Harrell, Gary Smith, and Paul Butler will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. T.J. Morgan conducting the graveside services.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 5 to 9 p.m.
