Teachers at Sharp Creek Elementary School get their students to wave back and forth to the song "We are the Champions" at a pep rally Tuesday to finish up a day celebrating attendance. Of the nearly 600 students at the school only 12 were absent Tuesday. All students in the third, fourth and fifth grades were in attendance. Students took a break from the normal routine in the classrooms, with activities like reading for pleasure, sidewalk chalk, a movie room and messy art.
