Mary Nell Folds, 82, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. She was born Feb. 21, 1930, in Temple, Ga., the daughter of the late William Leonard Morrow and Ludie Mae Ward Morrow.

She was retired from Atlanta Braves baseball, where she served as switch board operator/receptionist for 23 years. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Folds; a brother, Milford Morrow; and a sister, Helen Bass.

Survivors include her daughter, Joannie Lynn Folds of Carrollton; sisters, Leola and Hamp Harris of Villa Rica, Sara Kocsis of Bremen and Dorothy Medlock of Carrollton; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.
