Thousands of residents took over Adamson Square Thursday night to sample the foods served by more than 40 vendors at the 27th Annual Taste of Carrollton. Local restaurants shared samples of their kitchens for guests to benefit Carrollton Main Street. Country music artist and former Carrollton resident Bill Gentry entertained at the amphitheater. Guests were also treated to a wing eating contest between the Carrollton Fire Department and the Carrollton Police Department. The fire department won the contest.
