Mrs. Etta Almeda Shealy, 92, of 115 Shealy Rd., Tallapoosa, Ga., passed away Sept. 12, 2012. Mrs. Shealy was born June 8, 1920, in Tallapoosa, Ga., to the late John and Emma Bonner Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel “Shorty” Shealy; sisters, Clara Williams, Estelle Smith, Bertha Clay and Effie Clark; and brothers, Buoie Clark, Oscar Clark, Grady Clark, Claude Clark, Arlin Clark and Stanley Clark.

Mrs. Shealy was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.

Mrs. Shealy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Rudy Robinson of Muscadine, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Jane Shealy of Tallapoosa; grandchildren, Paige and Brad Davis, Charity and Rob Szopinski, Stephanie and Jason Willis, Jason and Beth Robinson, Jeromine Robinson, Justin and Leslie Robinson, Angie and Ward Campbell, and Jeff and Rita Robinson; and great-grandchildren, Hayden Davis, Holden Davis, Ashleigh Szopinski, Trent Szopinski, Kade Robinson, Cooper Robinson, Preston Robinson, Braxton Robinson, Silas Robinson, Emily Hunter, Claire Campbell, Andrew Campbell, Camden Robinson, Adler Robinson, Brodie Robinson and Avery Hipps.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 14, at Riverside Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Pike and Steve Galloway officiating. Music was provided by Dean Wright, Valarie Davis and Cathy Norton. Pallbearers serving were Brad Davis, Ward Campbell, Jeff Robinson, Jason Robinson, Jeromie Robinson, Justin Robinson, Jason Willis, Rob Szopinksi, Heath Johnson and Claude McWhorter.

Interment followed in Riverside Church Cemetery.
