James (Jim) Frank Black Jr., 64, of Davie, Fla., passed away with his wife and children by his side on September 5, 2012. He was born in Villa Rica, Ga., to the late James and Ruth Black on March 3, 1948.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pamela Black of Hollywood, Fla.; his daughter, Caron Black Davis and son-in-law, James Davis of Senoia, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Jennifer Black of Villa Rica, Ga., Christopher and Kelly Brewer; grandchildren, Samantha, Caitlyn, Danielle, Hunter, Georgie and R.J.; his loving friends, Cindy and Dave Isbel and children and family in New York, Florida and Georgia.

Jim was loved by the community of New Life Baptist Church and St. Philips Church of Davie and many friends of Villa Rica, Ga., and South Florida.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. with a service Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Fred Hunter’s University Drive Home, Davie. Online condolences may be shared at www.fredhunters.com.
