Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Floyd and Rev. Amos Pruitt officiating. The body will be placed in the church on Saturday from 11 to 11:30 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday all day at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton.
Mrs. Pruitt was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alfred Pruitt.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Poss of Dawsonville, Debra Smith of Cumming, Judy Whitmire of Alabama, James Pruitt of Canton and Mark Pruitt of Florida; sister, Hazel Hopkins of Woodstock; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
