Mary Ann Myers of Carrollton signs a get-well wish for Aimee Copeland after giving a donation at the Chick-fil-A Spirit Night at the Carrollton restaurant Thursday. The event was the idea of Cheyenne Akers, in green, 11 of Carrollton and came about when Cheyenne wanted to do something for Copeland after hearing her story. She bounced the idea off best friend Rebbecca Hays, second from right. After discussing it with their mothers, Lisa Akers, standing left, and Belinda Hays, center, they decided to approach Chick-fil-A. Copeland, a University of West Georgia graduate student, is in rehabilitation after fighting a flesh-eating disease.
