Ben Bannon of Boy Scouts of America Pack 1828 of Villa Rica places a piece of an U.S. flag into the council fire Thursday night at the Three Rivers District Cub Scout Twilight Camp at Sharp Creek Elementary School. The flag retirement ceremony closed the camp. Ben, a Webelo in the Scouts, was joined at the camp by more than 60 other Cub Scouts, from Bobcat through Webelo. The Scouts learned about the various “superheroes,” like law enforcement, paramedics and firefighters, in the local community.
