Clarence Arley Swanger, 61, of LaGrange died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. He was born Jan. 5, 1951, in Carrollton, the son of the late Clarence Emmett Swanger and Katie Mae Carr Swanger.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Richard and Amy Swanger of Newnan, Rodney Swanger, Robin and Cassandra Swanger, all of Carrollton, Ryan Swanger, Roxie Swanger and Alex Acevedo of LaGrange; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret and James Puckett of Roopville and Angel Swanger of Carrollton; brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis and Pat Swanger of Bowdon and Ricky Swanger of LaGrange; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. from Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dallas Howard officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesus Swanger, Jamie Swanger, Ryan Harper, Dustin Harper, Tomas Cano, Joshua Swanger, Dustin Swanger and Jason Payne.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
