Mr. William G. Bernier, 86, of Villa Rica died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was born in Ashland, Wis., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bernier.

Mr. Bernier retired from an accountant and later worked for H & R Block as an accountant for many years. He served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Staron Bernier.

He is survived by his daughter, Kendra Parker of Douglasville; brother, Lou Bernier of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 16, at noon at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with Rev. Tim Stephens officiating. Inurnment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. Georgia National Honor Guard will provide military honors.
