Buford “Stanley” Chandler, 55, of Villa Rica died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. He was born June 11, 1957, in Carrollton, the son of Nellie Ruth Chandler Hollis and the late Buford John Chandler.

Mr. Chandler worked in the construction business for many years and was a member of Consolation Baptist Church.

In additon to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Alan Briard.

Survivors include his mother, Nellie Ruth Chandler Hollis of Carrollton; daughter, Autumn Brooke Chandler of Newnan; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and Alan Hembree of Villa Rica, and Angie Temple of Cummings; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Roxanne Chandler of Villa Rica.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. at Consolation Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Powers, Rev. David Couch and Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be Wesley Chandler, Vincent Groover, Joe Wier, Ricky Morris, Johnny Causey, Tim Cable and Keith Freeland. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
