Mr. Robert N. Clay, age 75, of Villa Rica died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Clay was born November 3, 1936, in Mableton, Georgia, the son of the late Robert Jennings Clay and Hazel Griggs Clay. He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of LifeGate Church in Villa Rica. Mr. Clay was a retired investor and developer.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Clay; children, Sheila and Danny Adams, Jennifer and Shane Henson; step-children, Kris and Amber Hornback, Justin and Stephanie Hornback, Jeff and Suling Hogan; grandchildren, Michael and Amy Adams, Madison Henson; step-grandchildren, Kaiden and Koda Hornback, Lathan and Ashlyn Hornback, Caleb and Evan Camp, Taylor and Tara Hogan; great-grandchildren, Emma and Timothy Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Angelyn and Rev. Ernest Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Fred Phillips.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Clay, and first wife, Roselin Clay. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 2 p.m., at LifeGate Church in Villa Rica, with Rev. Eddie Walker and Pastor Tony Ashmore officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Interment will follow the service in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. Pallbearers will be Ron Norris, Jody Rollins, Chuch Rozell, Larry Thomas, Emmanuel Udombon and John Maniaci.
