Mr. Hogrefe was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Deshler, Ohio, the son of the late Aronld Henry Hogrefe and Esther Marie Schultze Hogrefe. He worked most of his life as a carpenter. He was Baptist by faith and was a veteran, having served in the United States Army
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Margie Hogrefe; children and their spouses, Sarah and Mark Harris, Midland, Ark., and Margie and Wesley Gilmer, Villa Rica; and 11 grandchildren
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Burial will follow the service in Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery. The American Legion Honor Guard Post #143 will provide honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Feb. 3, from 6-8 p.m.
