• Can anyone tell us why the Super Bowl halftime shows are almost always so bad? We only watched part of the show this year, and left it to watch something intelligent.

• Evil can be well done. That’s why it is excused, promoted and justified. Such is the performance of “Rocky Horror.” Perhaps the talented members of the cast need to take a hard look at what their talents promote. Is it worth it? God sees, too.

• So nice to see Gerald Pilgrim in the cast of “Rocky Horror” this weekend. Gerald filled in for Casey Coleman. Nice job on the Time Warp dance fellas!

• Back before the election for mayor of Carrollton I remember the mayor touting how much reserve the city had in the treasury. I have a couple requests: Down on Roop Street between U.S. Highway 27 and Publix there is a one-way bridge that has needed another lane added for years. You wouldn’t even have to close the street, just add another one lane bridge! Another request: where Newnan Road joins Newnan Street there is a middle lane to turn left and right lane to turn right. Keep in mind both lanes are turning onto a four-lane street. Why not paint a divider line and let both lanes have the option of turning left. The right lane could still turn right. A little paint and about 30 minutes would take care of this.
