Mrs. Pearl Genell Agan Weathington, 80, of Winston, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at her residence. She was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Haralson County, Ga., the daughter of the late Mr. W. B. Agan Sr. and the late Mrs. Mallie Elizabeth White Agan. She retired from the Villa Rica Hosiery Mill after many years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Winston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Agan, Harold Agan and Shearl Agan; sister, Carolyn Washington.

She is survived by her, daughter, Kathy Mooney of Winston and Lynn Weathington of Winston; sons, Dennis Weathington of Winston, Ronald and Pat Weathington of Winston; four grandchildren, Kerry Mooney of Temple, Wesley Corkill of Villa Rica, Baxley Corkill of Winston, Jake Mooney of Winston; great-grandchild, Bailey Corkill of Villa Rica and soon to be great-grandchild, Stormie Corkill; sisters, Barbara Young of Menlo, Joyce Gordon of Centralhatchee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Lillie Mae Agan of Winston, W. B. and Carolyn Agan Jr. of Winston, Champ and Diane Agan of Villa Rica, Danny and Melba Agan of Winston. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the chapel of Liberty Baptist Church in Winston with the Revs. Neal Williams, Johnny White and Josh Agan officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery in Winston.
